Take Control of Any Plug-In Device — From Anywhere
The PowerTend Plug sits between a standard wall outlet and your equipment, giving you full remote control over power delivery. Turn devices on or off from the IntelliTend app or web dashboard, set automated daily or weekly schedules, and confirm at a glance that your equipment is online and communicating. No rewiring. No IT department. Just plug it in and go.
What You Get at Launch
- Remote On/Off Control — Power equipment up or down from anywhere with an internet connection. No more driving across town to flip a switch.
- Automated Scheduling — Program daily, weekly, or custom schedules to match your facility's operating hours and usage patterns.
- Connection Status Confirmation — See at a glance whether the plug is online and communicating with the IntelliTend platform. Know your equipment is connected before your customer calls to ask.
- Dual Wireless Connectivity — Communicates via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and WiFi. Pair it with the SecureSend Gateway for standalone cellular connectivity that keeps IoT traffic off your corporate network (requires service plan).

- Does the PowerTend Plug require WiFi?
The Plug supports both WiFi and BLE. For installations where corporate WiFi isn't available or preferred, pair it with the SecureSend Gateway for standalone cellular connectivity (requires service plan). - Can I use this with 240V equipment?
The PowerTend Plug supports 100–240 VAC input, but it uses a standard 120V NEMA plug form factor. For hardwired or higher-voltage equipment, see the PowerTend Relay. - What happens if the internet goes down?
If the Plug loses connectivity, any active schedule continues to run locally. You'll see a connectivity status change in the dashboard when communication resumes. - Do I need a subscription?
Basic features — including remote on/off, scheduling, and connectivity confirmation — are available on the free Basic tier via WiFi. The Commercial and Enterprise tiers unlock cellular connectivity, extended data history, custom alerts, and managed service options. - Will I need to buy new hardware when power monitoring launches?
No. Power monitoring and predictive analytics will be delivered through firmware and cloud platform updates to existing PowerTend Plug hardware.
