WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

We obtain personal information such as name, email address, and phone number when you contact us online. We also track the number of visitors to different pages on our website.

For our mobile applications:

  • Scentelligent LM App: This app doesn’t use any data or require login. It communicates with our device via Bluetooth when in proximity and does not collect or transmit data to our servers.
  • Scentelligent App: This app manages our hardware devices through server communication. Users do not create accounts directly in the app; instead, accounts are set up by us when users call BlueStreak IoT.
  • Vertrax App: Users can create accounts within the app. We collect their email and password solely for server access, enabling them to manage and view their device data. 

COOKIES

We collect your browser type, operating system, Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, domain name, and/or a date/time stamp for your visit. We also use cookies and URL information together with information regarding the date and time of your visit and the information for which you searched and which you viewed. We also track the number of visits to a particular page. We may use both session Cookies (which expire once you close your web browser) and persistent Cookies (which may stay on your computer until you delete them). “Cookies” are small bits of data that a website can send to your browser and may then be stored on your hard drive. We use cookies in connection with certain features on our website and advertising platforms. You can set your web browser so that you will always be notified when you receive a Cookie. HOW IS THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT USED?

We use the personal information you provide to respond to your request or inquiry and in the ordinary course of conducting our business, including as set out below. We do not sell or rent your personally identifiable information to third parties. None of our apps use any of the data outside of the operation of their hardware.

  • Providing Support and Services: to provide and operate our websites, communicate with you about your use of the websites, provide troubleshooting and technical support, respond to your inquiries, fulfill your orders and requests, process your payments, communicate with you, and for similar service and support purposes.
  • Responding to Your Requests: to respond to your inquiries, fulfill your orders and requests, and consider your request or application (e.g., if you have submitted a resume or other application information online or by email, we will use it as part of the application review process).
  • Analytics and Improvement: To better understand how users access and use the websites, and our other products and offerings, and for other research and analytical purposes, such as to evaluate and improve our services and business operations and to develop services and features.
  • Personalization: to tailor content we may send or display on the websites, including to offer location customization and personalized help and instructions, and to otherwise personalize your experiences.
  • Advertising: to promote BlueStreak IoT’s products and services on third-party websites. 
  • Marketing: for direct marketing purposes, including to send you newsletters, client alerts, and information we think may interest you. If you are located in a jurisdiction that requires opt-in consent to receive electronic marketing messages, we will only send you such messages if you opt-in to receive them.
  • Protect Our Legal Rights and Prevent Misuse: To protect the websites and our business operations; to prevent and detect fraud, unauthorized activities and access, and other misuse; where we believe necessary to investigate, prevent or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the safety or legal rights of any person or third party, or violations of our Terms of Use or this Privacy Policy.
  • Comply with Legal Obligations: To comply with the law or legal proceedings. For example, we may disclose information in response to subpoenas, court orders, and other lawful requests by regulators and law enforcement, including responding to national security or law enforcement disclosure requirements.
  • General Business Operations: Where necessary for the administration of our general business, accounting, record keeping, and legal functions.

DELETING AN ACCOUNT

To delete an account, send an email request to [email protected]. Make sure your email includes the following information to help us process your request efficiently:

  1. Your full name
  2. The email address associated with your account
  3. Any additional details that may assist us in verifying and locating your account

Once we receive your request, we will begin the process of deleting your account and will confirm once it has been completed. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us via the provided email address.

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we decide to change our Privacy Policy, we will post the revised policy here. As we may make changes at any time, we suggest you periodically consult this Privacy Policy. Please note that our rights to use your personally identifiable information will be based on the privacy policy in effect at the time the information is used.

YOUR CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS

“California’s Shine the Light” law, Civil Code section 1798.83, requires certain businesses to respond to requests from California customers asking about the businesses’ practices related to disclosing personal information to third parties for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes. Alternatively, such businesses may have in place a policy not to disclose the personal information of customers to third parties for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes if the customer has exercised an option to opt-out of such information sharing.
